Primary Care practices offer a comprehensive array of services to meet the health and wellbeing needs of you and your family. For newborns to the elderly, our Primary Care network can serve as your Medical Home.
Our comprehensive care approach means that you and your family can get preventive care including annual physicals, well child exams, vaccinations, age appropriate health advice and screening and disease prevention. We offer maternity, gynecology, family planning and
pediatric care as well as adult and geriatric care. Your Primary Care Physician offers many convenient services such as school, sports, licensing and employment physical exams and is qualified to perform pulmonary (lung) function testing, EKG, joint injections, skin biopsies, minor office surgery, laceration repair and vision and hearing screenings.
Your Primary Care Physician can also treat you and your family for emotional and behavioral issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse and ADHD. If a referral is warranted your family physician will coordinate the care of all your specialists.
When you or a family member is sick or injured, you can confidently turn to your Primary Care Physician to care for you. Your physician can care for your colds and coughs as well as your sports injuries, strains, sprains and rashes. Your physician can manage chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. In short, your family practice physician is your first line of defense when dealing with any common illness, condition or injury. If a hospitalization is warranted, your Primary Care Physician will make sure that you get the care you need.
